We are pleased to announce that Profs. Vecchi and Fueglistaler are switching their roles in the Cooperative Institute for Modeling the Earth System (CIMES). As of July 1, 2021, Prof. Fueglistaler is the Director of CIMES, and Prof. Vecchi is the Deputy Director of CIMES. With Prof. Vecchi stepping up as Director of the High Meadows Environmental Institute (HMEI), exciting opportunities arise to further deepen and expand the collaboration between Princeton University and NOAA/GFDL, and to jointly tackle the challenge to understand Earth's climate, its changes in the future, and their impact on society and ecosystems.
